Closer than you think

North-metro access without the downtown grind—skip I-25 traffic, parking garages, and freight elevators and drive straight to a ground-level load-in.

Typical drive times to DVS Studio

  • Longmont · ~18 minutes
  • Boulder · ~28 minutes
  • Westminster · ~22 minutes
  • Thornton · ~15 minutes

Compared to Denver/RiNo studios

Most Denver and RiNo studios mean 45–60 minutes of drive time, plus extra time to snake through parking garages, find street parking, and haul gear to a freight elevator.

At DVS Studio you park in front of the building, roll straight to a ground-level garage door, and load directly into the room—with the owner/operator waiting to help get you to picture faster.

North-metro, no-downtown-parking.

Parking & load-in

Free, easy parking directly in front. Ground-level 17'×24' garage door for gear and larger items—no stairs or freight elevator.

Check-in, wrap & overtime

Arrive 10 minutes early for orientation. The owner/technician is on site. After your block, 5 minutes are included to reset the space to its standard layout (“back to zero”).

Overtime is only offered if no booking follows yours. Billed in 15-minute increments at $1.50 per minute.

Operator & camera support

The owner/operator is on site for setup assistance on lighting add-ons. When you book the Pro Camera Kit or Production House package, the same operator works the full duration of your rental—running camera, helping with lighting, and acting as on-set support for your crew (similar to a dedicated tech for your block).

Booking & policies

Deposits, payment & changes

Booking runs through HoneyBook: card on file is required up front; you are not charged until the booking time. Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your start. Cancellations or reschedules inside that 24-hour window may be charged the base rental price for the reserved tier.

House rules

  • Max occupancy: 50 people on site.
  • Not permitted: live music or live bands, open flame, alcohol, THC, smoking or vaping.
  • Pets: welcome when they’re part of the shoot (on-camera / production need)—not as casual visitors. Registered service animals are always welcome.
  • Minors only with a parent or legal guardian present.
Dalton, owner and on-set tech at DVS Studio

Meet your tech

Dalton · zero-ego on-set partner

I’m Dalton, an actor and choreographer based in the Denver metro who operates DVS Studio as a space built for serious creative work. My background spans performance, choreography, and education, so I’m as comfortable in front of the camera as I am running the room behind it.

For every booking, I’m your on-site tech—helping dial in lighting add-ons, camera settings, and gear so you’re never shooting alone or guessing at exposure. The goal is simple: intentional craft, clear communication, and zero-ego execution from first frame to final wrap.

Whether you’re a solo creator, small team, or full production, you get a partner who understands both the performance side and the technical nuts and bolts.
